Acute vasomotor nephropathy
Acute vasomotor
nephropathy on chronic kidney disease, stage IV. The patient presented with BUN of 54 and a
creatinine of 16.6. Her baseline from
09/2014 was a BUN of 34 and a creatinine of 3.9. Acute vasomotor nephropathy likely brought on
by dehydration. Our plan here will be to
rehydrate the patient. We will also
repeat BMP. We will also invite renal
team to see the patient. Fatigue could
also be explained by dehydration.
